Cuisine Américaine (Open concept Kitchen) is a wander through, a plunge into an apartment building, the subsidized living complex where I live. Back and forth, the film unfolds, gains perspective, apprehends the labyrinth, weaving in and out of the building. Penetrating the apartments, probing the architecture while giving access to residents' intimacy.

Cuisine américaine is an architectural and intimate stroll, between the real and the virtual. My film confronts the idealistic vision of the urbanistic planning with the reality of the building, the tenants and their everyday lives.
