Summary :
ANPE CONCEPT CAR is an action which took place in the town-centre of Rennes in June 2000. A car fitted with a PA system and bearing the logo of the ANPE (i.e. the French Jobcentre) aired a remix of "siffler en travaillant" (Whistling while working). This work was built out around the fiction putting an end to unemployment. Its goal is to try and find a solution to the seeking of unemployed persons and thus finding potential clients for the Agence Nationale pour l'Emploi ( Jobcentre). A video which shows and explains this action was presented, along with a "table-siège" (a table fitted with a seat) during an exhibition entitled "Le travail c'est la santé" ("working is good for your health") held at the ZOOGALERIE of Nantes by the association k@rl.
