Summary :
This film is the outcome of a two-year-long work. It is presented here in its final version which is radically different from the preliminary trial versions which had been released so far. Ragged you (A estorias das horas) is an essential film in the author's artistic career.

What we usually say about an affair is that it lasted a certain amount of time; a few hours, several weeks, years… We don’t often wonder what the story is that lies beneath all this amount of time. By the way, what precisely is it that we did during that time ? Give someone a blow job, watch the clouds move around the sky, miss the last train in Canadian Waters…
It’s a covered market in Camden Town. She has put on a wide-sleeved coat with very large purple checks that contrast strongly with the orange highlights in her hair. She looks at me and because of the paleness of her face, her yellow-dotted eyes seem greener than ever. At this very moment, I am sure that her name is Ruby Tuesday, that she lives on Penny Lane and that Richard Davies wrote all of his songs thinking of her. When we leave the market, a woman walks up to us and tells me : “darlin’, you’ve got style”. I smile at her; outside, it is night.
Chalk Farm, Camden Town ... in the almost empty metro, she buries her face in my neck and seems to fall asleep. After Victoria, the night is pitch dark, the lights of London are spinning around us, I am holding her close to me, we are not talking, in her hair I am breathing the music of the world.
