This documentary work is a video montage of texts and various quotations : interviews of people who are in charge of the image of Marseilles or who have been involved in its representation (such as film producers, filmmakers, sociologists...) and audio-visual sequences from many sources : documentaries, television, advertising, music and especially the cinematic imagery that is specific to Marseilles. We thus see, during those fifty minutes, a more or less orderly succession of myths and stereotypes, of reflexions and interrogations, with a wide variety of points of view and counter- points of view.
