Engagé comme compositeur et responsable du laboratoire vidéo expérimental du Service de la recherche de l'ORTF, Robert Cahen poursuit ses recherches (en 16mm) notamment sur les phénomènes de réceptivité. Il tourne (en vidéo) des interviews, compose pour la télévision et participe à des concerts, jusqu'à la dissolution de l'ORTF en 1974.

Hired as a composer and head of the experimental video laboratory at the Service de la Recherche, Robert Cahen pursued his research (using 16 mm), addressing most notably phenomena of receptive modes. He filmed video interviews, composed for television and participated in concerts until the dissolution of the French ORTF in 1974.
