Photographer Jean-Marc Tingaud takes pictures of the sea, the idea being that on the day of summer solstice in 1990, twelve bottles, each containing an original photograph by Tingaud, would be thrown into twelve seas and oceans of the world. Robert Cahen, in a kind of melancholic chant, takes us across the solitude of these gigantic oceans, where, from time to time, a lighthouse lends to the scene a human dimension.
