Angel Scan. «Voyage» – mais sans substances – si ce n’est celles que génère le cerveau quand l’énergie s’éveille en conscience créatrice, accompagnée d’une intense expérience de la «lumière» et des «ténèbres». Fourmillement, bombardement des atomes, danse des particules électriques animées d’un mouvement ultrarapide. Unités invisibles d’énergie infra-atomique, formes/couleurs qui se caractérisent par leur chaleur irradiante et par leur force d’attraction ainsi que par leur potentiel de son / énergie vibratoire.

Angel Scan est autant un « psychogramme » (ci-dedans), qu’un « cosmogramme » (là-dehors). En deux mots : c’est la réception de l’Ange en soi en dépit de la vanité de l’existence.
L’énoncé de Angel Scan est d’ordre philosophique. Et c’est du vécu.
Le sens ici est dans l’expérience.

Sur un visage quasi immobile (ou qui subit sans cesse des gels de l’image) tout au long du film s’inscrivent des micro-événements (taches, « neige » électronique, points, tourbillons, flashes, déflagrations comme dans Pulsar, mousse de points, décomposition / dessiccation de temps en temps de l’image, ondes, toutes sortes de turbulences, d’oscillations (espace des phases) ; toutes sortes de structures se formant et modélisant l’idée de scanning, que l’on peut alors rapprocher d’écritures du dedans et d’indices de structures cachées au sein de l’image, reproduisant des opérations cognitives qui cherchent à identifier les phénomènes qu’on a devant les yeux. Processus de pensée, analyse du phénomène ? Il se transcrit dans cette imagerie une lecture de la complexité.
(…) Pourquoi l’Ange apparaît aurifié ? Je dis aurifié en étendant le terme à l’action qui consiste à recouvrir une statue avec de l’or. C’est ainsi que j’interprète certaines images où le visage de Maria n’apparaît plus, où il semble s’être produit une fusion entre l’Ange et elle.
(…) Comment les formes naissent, est la question que suscite Angel Scan. Le film y répond par la mise en représentation de l’exploration sans limite d'un système dynamique non-linéaire avec lignes courbes, boucles, récursions se construisant sans cesse dans l'espace : un chaos qui s’organise. L’image se constitue petit à petit sous nos yeux, mais il n’y a pas une seule image, puisqu’il s’agit d’un film. Angel Scan est composé d’images vivantes qui rentrent en interaction avec notre perception, avec notre façon de comprendre – et j’ai l’impression que c’est là le véritable but de l’art.

Stains, electronic « snow », points, whirl, flashes, deflagrations just like in Pulsar, decomposition / desiccation of the image, waves, all kind of turbulences, oscillations (space of phrases); all kind of structures modelling the idea of scanning, which we can then compare to writings of the inside and to structure indices hidden in pictures, reproducing cognitive operations which try to identify the phenomenon we have in front of our eyes. Thoughts process, analysis of the phenomenon? A reading of complexity is transcribed in this imagery. (…) Why does the Angel appear filled with gold? When I say « filled with gold », I extend the term to the action consisting of covering a statue with gold. This is my personal interpretation of some pictures in which the face of Mary doesn’t appear anymore, in which there seems to have been a fusion between the Angel and her. How forms come to life is the question Angel Scan arouses. The movie answers to it by the representation of the limitless exploration of a non-linear dynamic system with its curve lines, loops, recursions constantly constructing in space: A chaos organising itself. The image is building up step by step in front of our eyes. However, there is not just one image since it is a movie.
