Il se concentre sur les éléments essentiels et les classe en un système qui se veut indiscutable. Dans "abécédaire" les 26 lettres, 26 mots et 26 prises de vue s'embrouillent. Les explications sont absentes, les références sont obscures, évidentes et changeantes. Les images laissent un arrière-goût d'absurdité et de solitude, mais aussi d'enjouement. An alphabet book is an illustrated book to learn how to read, or a handbook gathering the basic knowledge in a specialized area. It gives the essential facts and sorts them into a system that is supposed to be indisputable. In "abécédaire", the 26 letters, 26 words and 26 shootings get tangled. The explications are lacking, the references are obscure, obvious and changing. The images give an aftertaste of incongruity and loneliness, but also of liveliness. Even though the end is predictable, it has no real conclusion.
