Né le 25 aôut 1942, à Briançon (05). Plasticien, vidéaste, écrivain, Dominique Angel participe, de 1977 à 1991, aux activités du groupe et de la galerie alternative Calibre 33 is it art? à Nice. Entre 1982 et 1986, il réalise en collaboration avec Raoul Hébréard des vidéos de ses installations et performances. Il expose depuis 1983 ses sculptures, photographies, installations et vidéos "Faire marcher l'insomniaque" (Pièce supplémentaire n° 1-6). Il vit et travaille à Marseille, enseigne la sculpture à la Villa Arson à Nice.
Born in August 25th, 1942 in Briançon (France). He is a visual artist, videomaker, writer and participates, from 1977 to 1991, to the activities of the Calibre 33 is it art? group and alternative gallery, in Nice (France). Between 1982 and 1986, he makes together with Raoul Hébréard videos of his installations and performances. Since 1983, his sculptures, photographs, installations and videos "Faire marcher l'insomniaque" (Pièce supplémentaire n° 1-6) are exhibited. He lives and works in Marseille (France) and teaches sculpture at the Villa Arson, Nice.
