Summary :
With "L'arpenteur" I have gone back to the leisurely promenade, to be able once again to wonder at the space at the edge of the ocean and the continent : those areas full of uncertainty. I placed my camera there, leaving it between sunrise and sunset to capture the changing light, colour and level of the water. I have captured in this space, traces of the human hand. Hybrid characters, human and vegetable, have taken root in this geography, and have weaved a vital link between man and nature, between life and death.
