Summary :
In order to carry out the mad project of taking one's desires for the only bearable reality. A disillusioned human society that no longer believes in utopia, is a society that dries out and condemns its reality. Men don't give up their dreams, since they recover them eagerly every night. LES PLANS SUR LA COMETE is a poetic video that revives simple utopias : reaching the stars, breaking free from daily routine, leaving behind everything that dispossesses us. But lots of problems still weigh in a social organism. The ambition of this video is to lead us little by little to a fierce desire of changing our way of looking at things, in order to create the world and take our desires for the only viable reality. This video is based on an approach of the Mediterranean, as the birthplace of our civilization. Why Morocco, a North African country ? Perhaps because the Moroccans are ingenious do-it-yourselfers and smugglers, using the bush telegraph, and therefore manage to evade the norm by changing their vision of things. LES PLANS SUR LA COMETE was shot in Morocco during a three-month residency at the French Institute of Agadir. Yet there is here no folklore, with only a few images of Morocco, but rather symbolic perceptions, indomitable impulses which are common to us all and confirm that the creation of the world is everyone's concern.
