PARADOXE HONGROIS is a general image of Hungary, a souvenir of a two-month stay in that country. From my window, I could see a poultry slaughterhouse. An employee came every day to glean walnuts in the courtyard, walking around and around the tree. This image symbolizes Hungary for me, like a stamp or a postcard. Today, a fence has been built across the courtyard of the factory. It is no longer possible to walk around the walnut tree. (X.DANDOY)
