Summary :
LOOKING FOR ELSIE is both a look at today's television and an homage to Fritz LANG, through his film "M". A search for the message of the film is confronted, in a less tragical context, with the power of the television image and its capacity to attract the eye. An image of a child, strong because of his power on the object (the TV set) and yet frequently attracted to and sucked in by the subject (the "program"). A kind of game of mirrors starring Elsie, two television sets and characters imprisoned behind the screen.
