Summary :
It is also the loss of one's usual relation to space and time by a breaking up of directions and an extension-compression of the real speed of the movement. This modulation, due to a computer editing of images and sounds from different shots of a train, forms a linear, abstract and hysterical composition. Video pays an homage to film with a dramatic acceleration of tracking shots. As he disappears, the traveller-viewer has no other way out of the boring stillness but to flee into the depth of field of representational space.
