Summary :
Beyond the musical and pictorial exotism which penetrate us in the dreamlike atmosphere of the place, the film offers a certain vision of timelessness and universality. A stroll through the town of Essaouira and its surroundings make us live two ordinary days where we meet four personalites. Two painters of Arab origin, one of whom is a woman, express the unspoken in their work. A farmer is revelated in the fractal image after having discovered the Dutch painter EICHER. A Danish gallery owner, settled in the town, tells us of his discoveries : self-taught gnaoui and berber artists, with their prolific and original works of compelling beauty.
