Born in Brittany (France) in 1948. She works and lives in Paris. She received a Master's degree in cinema and aesthetics in 1978, she has been teaching at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts in the multimedia field since 1995. After a few exhibitions of drawings and sculptures, she started to use video from 1972 on. In addition to her first video art creations, she is both a critic and a journalist for specialized magazines and special issues (Science et Avenir, Art Press, Autrement ...). As a coordinator in the video field, she also contributed to the organization of exhibitions in France and abroad: Art Vidéo Confrontation, 1974; 11th Biennale of Paris; Electra 83 at the Musée d'Art moderne de la Ville de Paris; La Vidéo casse le baroque, Cultural Center of Belgium, Paris. She also was responsible for the programming of French video art abroad: French Chilean festival, French videos in Florence, Athena, etc. In 1981, she published one special issue at the Cahiers du Cinéma "Video Arts Explorations" (a story of artistic research on the video medium, in Europe and the USA). Since 1982, she is the headmaster of Grand Canal, association of French video authors. She takes care of the follow-up of the productions and the management of the video creation workshops that she has set up. Her personal works are broadcast by Grand Canal, Heure Exquise ! and Le Vidéographe (Montreal).
